Our God Is A Rock

The church and gospel of Jesus Christ is the will of the Father. Jesus came to fulfill the will of the Father, to make the gospel possible. Jesus commanded that we take his name upon us that we might receive from the Father his promise of the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost.
When we are wrought upon and cleansed and made a new creature of the Holy Ghost it is the power of the Father that we come to know. God is proven true. Jesus predicted the promised outcome of faith, and the fulfillment of that prediction is pure science, just as you might expect from the Infinite Creator of the Universe.
Jesus came that we might know the Father, even God the greatest of all. We partake of the flesh and blood of Jesus after praying to the Father that we might be justified to continue in the Spirit of Jesus, which is to do the will of the Father.
The Rock Jesus built his church upon is the works of the Father and not upon flesh and blood. Not upon Apostles, Prophets, Popes or vain ministers who refuse to teach you how to take upon you the name of Jesus Christ so that the will of the Father is done. If the Father has not accomplished his work upon you then you are not part of Christ’s Church. Zion will be forever kept from you.
There are prophets and apostle but that foundation is laid upon a rock and that Rock is our God. Those who obey the commandments of Jesus Christ become his true saints.
Scriptures:
Deuteronomy 32: 4, 15, 18, 37 4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. 15 ¶ But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick, thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. 18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. 37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,
2 Sam. 22: 3, 32, 47 3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high cower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence. 32 For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God? 47 The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the crock of my salvation.
1 Sam. 2: 2 2 There is none holy as the Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
2 Sam. 23: 3 3 The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.
Psalms 18: 2, 31, 46 2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. 31 For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God? 46 The Lord liveth; and blessed be my brock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
Psalms 42: 9 9 I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Psalms 62: 7 7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Psalms 78: 35 35 And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.
Psalms 89: 26 26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
Psalms 94: 22 22 But the Lord is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
Isaiah 17: 10 10 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, and shalt set it with strange slips:
2 Nephi 4: 30, 35 30 Rejoice, O my heart, and cry unto the Lord, and say: O Lord, I will praise thee forever; yea, my soul will rejoice in thee, my God, and the brock of my salvation. 35 Yea, I know that God will give liberally to him that asketh. Yea, my God will give me, if I ask not amiss; therefore I will lift up my voice unto thee; yea, I will cry unto thee, my God, the rock of my righteousness. Behold, my voice shall forever ascend up unto thee, my rock and mine everlasting God. Amen.
1 Nephi15: 15 15 And then at that day will they not rejoice and give praise unto their everlasting God, their rock and their salvation? Yea, at that day, will they not receive the strength and nourishment from the true vine? Yea, will they not come unto the true fold of God?
2 Nephi 9: 45 45 O, my beloved brethren, turn away from your sins; shake off the chains of him that would bind you fast; come unto that God who is the rock of your salvation.
Helaman 5: 12 12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

Jesus Christ is the Redeemer, but the Rock is our Father and our God. In the following scripture we see that Jesus is one with the Father and the Holy Ghost. The important thing to keep in mind is that the gospel of Jesus Christ is between us and God and the outer church.

2 Nephi 4: 34 34 O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that putteth his trust in the arm of flesh. Yea, cursed is he that putteth his trust in man or maketh flesh his arm.
3 Nephi 11 36 And thus will the Father bear record of me, and the Holy Ghost will bear record unto him of the Father and me; for the Father, and I, and the Holy Ghost are bone. 37 And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and become as a little child, and be baptized in my name, or ye can in nowise receive these things. 38 And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and be baptized in my name, and become as a little child, or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God. 39 Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them. 40 And whoso shall declare more or less than this, and establish it for my doctrine, the same cometh of evil, and is not built upon my rock; but he buildeth upon a sandy foundation, and the gates of hell stand open to receive such when the floods come and the winds beat upon them.
D&C 6 34 Therefore, fear not, little flock; do good; let earth and hell combine against you, for if ye are built upon my rock, they cannot prevail.
D&C 11 16 Wait a little longer, until you shall have my word, my rock, my church, and my gospel, that you may know of a surety my doctrine. 24 Build upon my rock, which is my gospel;
D&C 18 4 For in them are all things written concerning the foundation of my church, my gospel, and my rock. 5 Wherefore, if you shall build up my church, upon the foundation of my gospel and my rock, the gates of hell shall not prevail against you.
D&C 50 42 And none of them that my Father hath given me shall be lost. 43 And the Father and I are one. I am in the Father and the Father in me; and inasmuch as ye have received me, ye are in me and I in you. 44 Wherefore, I am in your midst, and I am the good shepherd, and the stone of Israel. He that buildeth upon this rock shall never fall. 45 And the day cometh that you shall hear my voice and see me, and know that I am. 46 Watch, therefore, that ye may be ready. Even so. Amen.
